After realizing that there was nowhere in Ellsworth Maine that one could find any Caribbean flavored food to enjoy at a reasonable cost. Taste Jamaica became the only Jamaican Restaurant and first of its kind in Ellsworth Maine to fill the gap and give Mainers and visitors a taste of Jamaican home cooking. .

It's a small casual/take-out  restaurant expecting to expand its operations in the near future.

Our restaurant offer customers the best tasting authentic Jamaican meals. Each meal is prepared from scratch with fresh ingredients sourced locally and abroad. With every visit you experience delicious food and a great smile  from our friendly staff.
